Dentsu Inc. (Tokyo: 4324; ISIN: JP3551520004; President and CEO Toshihiro Yamamoto; Head Office: Tokyo; Capital: 74,609.81 million yen) today convened a meeting of its Board of Directors at its Head Office in Tokyo at which it announced the formation of an independent advisory committee responsible for aiding in both the implementation and supervision of a series of companywide labor environment reform measures in Japan. In addition, it will serve to assist in verifying their efficacy.

We are closely monitoring the progress of the initiatives we have augmented, and will continue to explore measures to redefine our corporate culture. In furtherance of this an independent third party consisting of outside experts was set up this month with the main purpose of supervising the progress of these initiatives.

2. Purpose of Establishment
Consisting of external experts, the committee will approach the reforms with an objective viewpoint. Its role will be to both help implement and supervise the progress of the initiatives as well as to verify their efficacy.
