Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Toshihiro Yamamoto, Capital: 74,609.81 million yen) announced today that it had been awarded the Most Valued Partner Prize at the New Year's Appreciation Dinner sponsored by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China held in Beijing on February 1. This is the fourth consecutive year has Dentsu received the honor.

The annual dinner was held to commend global companies doing business in China that made a special contribution to the education and development of Chinese people. This year, 32 companies (including two Japanese companies) were invited and received awards from the Chinese government. Vice Minister Tian Xuejun, in his speech, thanked Dentsu for its long- term commitment and substantial support for nurturing advertising talent in China and wished for Dentsu's continued involvement.

In the past, Dentsu received a "Special Award for Contribution in Supporting Education," equivalent to a national award, and a testimonial from the Ministry of Education in 2006 and 2009, recognizing the Company as a significant contributor to the development of advertising education and talent in China.
